I totally love this mount! I had some minor problems in the beginning, that a belt was to tight but the support from proxisky is really excellent and they responded in almost no time and we did fix everything. The mount is now running really smooth and guiding is perfect around 0.4 most of the time. Of course this depends heavily on seeing, sky conditions, wind and what not but it is for sure not the mounts fault :). The only thing which could make this better is having collision detection but we have the more premium mounts for that which I will opt in in the future :). Definitely will buy a second mount from here!

I got this mount in order to switch to a better and lighter option away from my skywatcher mount. The ragdoll 17 pro is the perfect mount for that. The sturdy case makes it easy to carry around and travel with it and I had many amazing nights. The guiding is perfect and the payload capacity is absolutely right for my current rigs. I am very happy

The ragdoll 17 pro works together well with all my 5 scopes from tiny to large.
for astrophotography: the guiding has always been running very good for me since i only dropped 3 frames in 15 months of using it and 1000+ total taken light frames. elongated stars are a thing of the past i left behind with the HEQ5 when i switched to the Ragdoll17 pro.
For visual: the app based manual polar alignment does work very well even if there is no guidescope. it always finds the target i want to observe and does carry the load jitter free. also the cat on the mount is a fantastic conversation starter at star parties. 10/10 would recommend.

This is the best mount I\'ve purchased so far in terms of performance out the box.

I chose the Ragdoll 17 Pro over the UMi series for two reasons:
- It was cheaper (also considerably cheaper than competitors and just as good if not better);
- It had a cat on the side (important).
Out of the box I consistently get guiding on the range of 0.6\'\', sometimes less, and I believe this is seeing limited. It is extremely portable and comes in an excellent hard case with protective foam. No complaints.
Well, I have one complaint and that is that I wish it would support faster guiding speeds. You are currently limited down to 1s due to the motors used, I believe. But that\'s what the UMi series are for.

Except those have no cats.

As an amateur astronomer for 37 years, I have used many mounts in my life. The Ragdoll 20 Pro is the best one by far! The mount is extremely light with no need for counterweights will all of my setups, including the 8\" SCT that I use. The setup is extremely quick, and the tracking is always spot on. I highly recommend the Proxisky mounts to all of my friends when looking for SWG mounts because of how well they are built, how well they perform and the low cost for such high quality.

I\'m very happy with the mount, even though the final test is still pending (so far only trial runs). In my opinion, the build quality is excellent. The connections on the hub version work perfectly and reduce cable clutter. The mount is very quiet. The support was first-rate. When I accidentally rendered the mount unusable during a firmware update (user error – reading the manual is definitely an advantage), I received help very quickly (in less than 30 minutes, which was certainly partly due to luck). Thank you very much!

Although the installation was a little slow, it is very quiet and I am very happy with it.
