    Solid quality. Saves you having to worry about the back end of the rig colliding with the tripod. I particularly like the red thumbscrews used to secure the mount to the pier. I left it permanently attached to the CF40 tripod and used a longer padded lighting equipment bag.

      What is the bottom hole screw pattern? Can you make it in a 3/8 inch center hole?

        Hello, the bottom screw pattern is the same as the ones on mounts, with three M6 holes 120 degrees apart. There are no 3/8 holes in the center.
